Hi Jessica,

I found your website through daykeeper journal, and I want to say that I enjoy your insightful commentary very much. I, too, am an astrologer, but practice natal, not political astrology, so I find it very interesting to read about the planetary transits as they relate to countries.

That said, I think that the US is in for some very tough times indeed. Here in Canada, it isn't so bad at the moment, but as we are "cousins" of the US, we share a similar culture and are starting to see a lesser version of the same breakdown in society. As usual though, we are just quieter about it, LOL!

Right now, I'm thankful to be an astrologer and able to understand what is happening - to a degree (no pun intended!). Your articles about the societal effects of the transits are very helpful in understanding the larger context.

I look forward to reading more of your insights.

Thank you for your acknowledgement, and for being part of the conversation. A Latin American scholar friend has just corroborated for me what you were saying about the over-the-top violence in Mexico being mainly confined to the border area; and she laments the fact that a false impression of it being wider spread is cutting off the vital tourism that Mexico needs, causing further hardship to people. I am glad to have the clarification. I notice that just in the past couple of weeks the violence has been played up, from a sensationalist angle, in the US mass media. Jessica

Here’s a witty rejoinder to that company head who whined that $500K is “not that much money”. Since it isn’t that much I’m sure you won’t mind donating it to a homeless shelter, rural hospital or refugee center.

Thanks so much sharing this. I pray that I am not the only reading. Even though the gov’t really is ready to diffuse civil unrest they are not quite ready to handle a revolution of the mind.
And nothing wakes you up quicker and makes you more angry than realizing that you’ve been set up and lied to. That everything you hold dear (or about %75 of it) about your country is a lie.
At some point we will all turn off the tv because we will not be able to afford to keep it on.

Thank you for your comments. I agree with you about the Fed, and about the Free Market not existing (that’s why it was “invisible”). Very interesting about the Austrians.

Yes, in the end, local grassroots action is where it’s going to turn around, if it turns around.

Those in the media would like you to believe that the Free Market is the culprit. The facts are that we haven’t had a free market since the Federal Reserve was created.
This private institution, a bank cartel as described by Edward Griffin in his book “The Creature from Jekyl Island”, has control of our money, using inflation and deflation as a means to provide the freshly printed dollars to “the boyz” that control the corporatocracy.

All true Free Market Economists, especially those of the Austrian School, knew very well of the impending economic doom years before its occurrence.

By blaming the Free Market, which doesn’t exist, the money masters want to exert more control, sending our country into a perilous fascist/socialist spiral.

We need recognize the two party charade as a power grab regardless of who is in power, decentralize power, take our resources and invest in local economies, have our state governments restate their superiority over the beast that they created, the Federal Government. Nationalize the Federal reserve so we can create interest free money, abolish fractional reserve banking entirely. Return all of our troops home and save hundreds of billions of dollars and precious lives.

It starts with local action and boycotts of the major banking institutions. Invest in state chartered and community banks instead of Goldman Sachs, Citibank, BOA, etc.
