I ordered/purchased Jessica's "The Lunar Eclipse of June 26th, 2010" CD, and recv'd it (this) the same week! Talk about integrity. "Fine work" to Jessica + her red hot staff. I played it for my 14 yr old Cancer daughter. I want her to learn this stuff! The part about modern industrial culture BEREFT of the Mother/Cancer energy is spot on. My Cancer daughter stuns me w/ her innate empathy; this I hope to safeguard in her. These young women do well to absorb Jessica's gracious wisdom, as do I. My mother, father, grandfather are all Aries, which strongly sets the contrast for our family's lack of Cancer's contributions. Being a Mother runs so deep, it's without measure. I can + will persevere as such. Feed eachother, hug eachother, grieve together and see ourselves in one another always. Be strong, be weak, but we gotta do this together with Love.

Thank you Jessica for your perspicacity and eloquence. A few days ago I started reading "Soul-Sick Nation" and have been enjoying it a lot. Yesterday I read this blog and in response I wrote a poem. I hope it is appropriate to share on these pages...

It's called "Mother Sky"

Listening to distant sounding thunder
Here I stand in awe, in wonder:
How can the Loves no one can put asunder
Be sold for mindless pursuit of plunder?

All things live and breath, and we all know all things pass.
All things surely grieve for the folly and the farce
Of human pursuit of pleasure at expense of search for meaning,
Choosing to hunt the next perishable measure over gazing skywards, gleaning

The soft lights of planets, celestial silver and gold;
Whispering Muses ebb and flow so that all things may be told
Step back from the whirling, frenzied clamour! Abandon the teeming slaves to glamour!
Heed the sound of nearing thunder and live in the Muses' fold.

Someone should really look into Bush's Sec of the Interior, Dirk Kempthorne, and his relationship to the Minerals Management Service. Kempthorne, ex-governor of Idaho (a poor, resource-plundered state) is the biggest political whore of the Bush Admn. Before he was appointed (Kempthorne stepped down from being Governor to take the job) Bushie went out to McCall Idaho and had a series of 3 day, face-to-face meetings (instructions) with "Dirk-the-dick" (his nickname in Idaho, because he's so compromised w/his kinky sex life).

Get that guy Kempthorne in the defendant's chair and he'll start singing, and the American people will find out the truth about BushCo & the MMS.

Transocean owned and operated the Deepwater Horizon.
Will see what investigators uncover, a lot of detail is missing. BP should never have been allowed to "take care of" the spill, now an untested chemical dispersant has been added to the mess. There were plenty of safe solution suggestions for absorbing the oil with materials such as peat moss and hay, which could later be collected and burned as a resource.

While I appreciated the interview on 60 Minutes with the Chief Engineer, I wondered who authorized him to speak so candidly. If I know one thing about corporate America - you don't reveal that kind of information without jeopardizing your job. I know that BP prevented their employees from leaving before they signed a confidentiality agreement that they would not talk about what happened on the Event Horizon. They also tried to get local businesses to sign off on agreements for payment. (Ref: Ring of Fire Mike Pappantonio). I think that his employer (I don't remember the company's name) this this a a pro-active way to cover themselves, place blame on BP and limit their liability.

60 Minutes interview of the Chief Electrician on the Deepwater Horizon gave a picture of what brought about the disaster (and what it was like to be onboard). There are a lot of guilty parties, but it looks like responsibility for the event lies mostly w BP (for pushing the crew and equipment beyond what was reasonable and safe, and for failing to attend to problems as they arose). But yeah, it would have helped if we'd had a regulatory agency that wasn't completely bought out by the industry they are supposed to be overseeing (what's new?). It's sickening to see how most of the concern is about the beaches and fishing and tourist industry, when these things can actually be compensated for w damage payments. What about all the animals and plants that will die, and entire ecosystems that will be destroyed? This is Hell on Earth for sure. Think about it each time you startup the engine.

Some scientist are already referring to it as potentially the largest environmental catastrophe in human history.

There are two very good videos on globalresearch.ca right now. One is called America's Economic Crisis: Meltup. The other is called To Rob a Country, Own a Bank. They present our situation with a great deal of clarity.
